Company officials confirm there was an explosion and fire at the Williams Partners’ gas facility in the Terrebonne Parish town of Gibson. They say four contractors who were performing scheduled maintenance at the facility were being treated by emergency response personnel. The severity of the injuries can not be confirmed at this time.
