Tropical Storm Cindy has weakened but rain still remains a major threat. The system is expected to make landfall early tomorrow morning in western Louisiana. State Climatologist Barry Keim says there’s also the potential for tornadoes. She says Cindy is ingesting some dry air, which disrupts the rain a little but not enough to reduce the threat.

The Quachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a three year old homicide after investigators were led to an abandoned home where remains have been located. Authorities are working to identify the victim and 24-year-old Titus Harris of West Monroe has been arrested in connection to the murder.
