An audit of the state’s foster care program unveiled some not-so-surprising shortcomings. Karen Leblanc with the legislative auditor’s office recommended DCFS evaluate staffing levels and request additional funding. She says they also think DCFS should take advantage of other services offered in the state…:

North Louisiana Chef Cory Bahr was not the big winner on Food Network Star, as Jason Smith picked up that title during the season finale last night. But Bahr had about 250 people show up to watch the final show with him last night at the Flying Tiger Brewery in Monroe, and he thanks everyone for their support.
