A 17-year-old in Lafayette is fighting for his life after he was shot in what police are calling an attempted armed robbery. Corporal Bridgette Dugas says they’ve arrested two boys, one is 13 and the other is 14-years-old…

The victim has been identified through media reports as Matthew Carter, a member of the Comeaux High School football team. Dugas says it’s believed the two teens were trying to steal his car.
