Republican Scott Angelle is upset over the fellow Republican David Vitter supporting PAC commercial which accuses the Public Service Commissioner of wanting to “tax the internet” — or require companies to add state sales tax to online purchases. Angelle’s camp claims Vitter supported the state law in 1994 that does just that.
Minden Congressman John Fleming is calling for a National Day of Prayer to address violence against police officers. He’s sent a request to President Obama because he believes these cop killings must stop and wants all Congressional members to get on board…:

DHH says they are thrilled that now more than 80% of birth hospitals in Louisiana are participating in programs which help moms breastfeed their babies and stick with it.
