Louisiana State Police say a 29-year-old man from Cedar Hill, Texas walked into Troop I in Lafayette this week with a Glock in a leather holster on his hip and told troopers he wanted to turn himself in. They say once troopers noticed Allen Norris had a gun they took him into custody.

There are a bunch of new jobs coming to Louisiana and not even residents here to fill them up accorindg to the state Department of Economic Development. LED Secretary Stephen Moret says to try to remedy that they’ve launched “ComeHomeLouisiana.com” to try to talk natives who live in other states to come back…:
