He says they believe 46-year-old Brian Timken of New Iberia initially hit the victim then she was hit again by 25-year-old Kayla Norris of Franklin. Timken was arrested on hit and run and obstruction. Norris was charged with hit an run.

The Baton Rouge Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a hit and run crash which claimed the life of an LSU student nearly a year ago. They say the suspect, 36-year-old Janneh Trench, was located in Georgia by US marshals and will be charged with negligent homicide, felony hit and run, reckless operation, obstruction. Investigators believe Trench hit Eric Fabre with his vehicle then attempted to destroy the evidence.
