There are internet postings coming out reportedly belonging to the gunman in last night’s Lafayette movie theater shooting which indicate he’s a fan of Adolf Hitler and calls the US a financially failing filth farm. Two women died and 9 others injured when 59-year-old John Houser opened fire shortly after the movie started. Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft says Houser was arrested for arson in Georgia about 25 years ago and was denied a pistol permit in 2006…:

Two teachers are being hailed heroes in last night’s Lafayette movie theater shooing. They are Jena Meaux and Ali Martin from Jeanerette Senior High school. Governor Bobby Jindal says one of the teachers jumped in front of another and took the bullet before pulling a fire alarm to get the other movie patrons to safety. A GoFund Me account has been set up for their medical expenses which currently has nearly $12,000.
