Today is Election Day. Among the issues on the ballot, the special election for the Secretary of State’s seat, six constitutional amendments, whether or not fantasy sports betting should be legalized in each parish, and congressional races, and a slew of local issues. Polls close at 8PM tonight across the state.
Severe weather throughout central and north Louisiana resulted in a tornado impacting Natchitoches Parish yesterday afternoon. While there are no reported injuries at this time, Nachitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Capt. Tony Moran says at this time, it appears that no polling places were impacted by the storm.
