The Louisiana Democratic Party is accusing Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin of voter suppression and gross incompetence because the voter registration portal on the Secretary of State’s website was down for several hours yesterday, which was National Voter Registration Day. Ardoin says the website issues were the result of maintenance and he calls it an unfortunate error.
