In Tangipahoa Parish, 33-year-old schoolteacher Morgan Freche of Loranger has been arrested on rape charges of a student who allegedly fathered her newborn child. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office says she was booked for third-degree rape, oral sexual battery, and multiple counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Investigators say the allegations against the teacher and the now 17-year-old student date back approximately two years.
