Two Baton Rouge teens accused of plotting the murder of one’s mother will be held without bond. The 16-year-old girls allegedly convinced a 16-year-old boy to pull the trigger. 33-year-old Markeshia Stone was shot to death Wednesday. A judge denied them bail this morning.

 

Animal shelters in Louisiana are at maximum capacity, and animal advocates say things aren’t getting better. Humane Society of Louisiana Director Jeff Dorson says, in their 34-year history, they’ve never experienced such an influx of owner-surrendered animals…:

Former LSU standout quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals come to the Caesar’s superdome Sunday to face the New Orleans Saints. Burrow says his last time in New Orleans fans cheered him, but he think that won’t be the case this Sunday.
