LSU’s Golden Band from Tigerland is preparing for its final performance of the season in Tiger Stadium tomorrow night and the band is also glowing over its Grammy nomination for its collaboration with Zydeco artist Sean Ardoin. Ardoin and the band recorded the album “Full Circle” and it’s received a Grammy nomination for Best Regional Roots Music Album. LSU band director Doctor Kelvin Jones says Ardoin is releasing a double vinyl album and 15% of the proceeds will go to the band for scholarships and more.
