In a five-year follow-up of an ongoing clinical trial, those with the high-risk skin cancer who take the vaccine along with Keytruda have lowered their risk of recurrence by half, compared to taking Keytruda alone. Dr. Kyle Holen, the head of development of oncology and therapeutics at Moderna, says the vaccine uses the same mRNA technology as the COVID vaccine.

The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is looking for the person who shot and killed a bald eagle in Vermillion Parish back in early December. The bald eagle is the national bird and a national symbol of the U.S. As such, Sergeant Michael Hebert notes that from coast to coast, it is illegal to shoot one.
