Ole Miss is one win away from the national championship game after taking down Georgia in the Sugar Bowl last night, but which coaches make the trip to the Fiesta Bowl is still up in the air. Kace Kieschnick reports.

Police in Natchitoches are looking for a man in connection with a stabbing that happened late yesterday morning. They say 52-year-old Lloyd Paillett stabbed two people; they’re hospitalized in stable condition.

As a Baton Rouge toddler continues fighting for her life after being shot in the head, a 27-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting. Landrick Ruffin Jr. is facing six counts of attempted first degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Baton Rouge Police Lieutenant L’Jean McKneely says the little girl remains in critical condition.

Saints linebacker Demario Davis has announced he will return for his 15th NFL season, his ninth in New Orleans. While this season got off to a rough start, with the Saints losing eight of their first nine games, they’ve seemed to have turned the corner with Tyler Shough at quarterback, winning four in a row. Davis says this late season surge has him excited for 2026.
