Governor Jeff Landry is urging Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy and South Dakota Senator John Thune to support the confirmation of Robert F Kennedy as the next Secretary for the U-S Department of Health. Landry says America’s health continues to decline, and we need a leader who will shake up the status quo. Kennedy’s confirmation hearing is Thursday and Cassidy is the chairman of the committee holding the hearing.

The Louisiana Motor Transportation Association says last week’s historic snowfall and the closing of several major roadways show the need for more parking spaces for trucks during severe weather events.
