The National Federation of Independent Business says the legislation approved in the tax reform special session will help small businesses drive economic growth and create jobs. NFIB state director Leah Long says the passage of a flat 3% individual income tax rate, a flat 5.5 percent corporate income tax rate and the elimination of the franchise tax will help small businesses.
Long says she’s also glad legislators did no touch the inventory tax credit for unincorporated businesses.
