In addition to the Treasurer’s race, there are two other statewide run-offs; Secretary of State, Attorney General, and four constitutional amendments on Saturday’s ballot. Voting begins at 7 am and ends at 8 pm.

Governor John Bel Edwards has just over 50 days left in office and he says his staff is speaking on a daily baisis with Governor-elect Jeff Landry’s transition team. Edwards says so far everything is going smoothly…

Edwards says eight years ago, he knew the budget was in bad shape, but didn’t realize the shortfall was much as two-billion dollars for the next fiscal year.

Landry will be sworn-in on January 8th and the inaugural ball is that night at the Raisin Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge. Landry says if you go to his transition website, one-team-dot-la, you can purchase tickets for 100-dollars…
