Senator John Kennedy has co-introduced legislation aimed at combatting the global trade in bear parts along with New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. Animal Wellness Action founder Wayne Pacelle says the bears are slow to reproduce and cannot keep up with the large scale poaching cases throughout the US.
