During a speech at the National Press Club today, Governor Bobby Jindal took aim at the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump. Jindal says the Democrats are basically giving republicans the next election, but Trump could destroy America’s chances to be great again…

State Police say 22-year-old Donald Clement, Jr. of Breaux Bridge is under arrest charged with attempted manslaughter of a St. Martin Parish Deputy. Secretary of State Tom Schedler says he’s looking at phasing out the traditional voting booth and replacing those old machines with iPads. Schedler says with this new technology, you’ll still have to go to a voting location, but you can use the Geaux-vote app on your phone to fill out your ballot beforehand and these iPADs can read your ballot…
