A new statewide poll of 11-hundred Louisiana residents finds 34-percent disapprove of Governor Jindal’s job performance. The Public Policy Poll also asked its respondents who they would rather have as Governor…Edwin Edwards or Bobby Jindal. 47-percent said the former four-term governor, while 43-percent said Jindal. Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle has declared his intent to run for Governor next year. The Republican from Breaux Bridge made his announcement on The Moon Griffon Show earlier today. Angelle joins Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne, US Senator David Vitter, and state Representative John Bel Edwards who have previously stated that they’ll run for the state’s top office.

The story about the two teachers from Destrehan High who were allegedly sexually involved with a 16-year-old male student is generating a lot of talk about a societal double standards.
