The New Orleans Police Department has identified the officer that was killed in the line of duty last night as 29-year-old Marcus McNeil. NOPD Chief Michael Harrison says the 30-year-old male suspect fled from the scene, but later surrendered…:

The University of Louisiana at Monroe is continuing to investigate alleged racist remarks made by several students which resulted in the suspension of the Kappa Sigma Pledge fraternity. ULM President Nick Bruno says this incident is not representative of the way their students behave…:
