A St. Helena Parish grand jury has indicted a woman on a murder charge in the death of her sister, whose body was found in a shallow grave. 38-year-old Deborah Palmer of Amite, will face one count of second-degree murder in the death of her sister, 36-year-old Rebecca Blades of Greensburg.

Baton Rouge Police are seeking a murder suspect after police say he fatally shot his ex-girlfriend. 52-year-old Robert Antoine is accused of killing 41-year-old Monique Maxie over the weekend. Sgt. Don Coppola says the victim was getting out of a vehicle with another person..:

Monroe chef Cory Bahr got to cook against Bobby Flay on Week 7 of the competition Food Network Star, and he was the only contestant who won.
