Another teacher from Destrehan High School has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a then 16-year-old female student. St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne says the information that the student and the teacher, 26-year-old Kimberly Naquin, may have been having a sexual relationship came from a family member of the student. Walmart announced today the company will be closing 269 stores worldwide, including 8 in Louisiana. LSU Marketing Professor Dan Rice says Walmart is trying to cut out the stores where they aren’t as profitable, like Walmart Express. He says the company has realized they need to start being smart about where they’re spending their money..:

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association will no longer divide its playoffs into divisions for public and private schools. They say that the return to the traditional 1A-through-5A format comes after a legal review found that the 2013 decision violated the organization’s constitution.
