And of course with oil prices low, the price at the pump is also dropping for consumers. The American Automobile Association says the average at the pump for regular right now is $1.93 and this time last year it was $3.13.

The Washington Parish Sheriff’s office says a former speech therapist from Franklinton High School is under arrest for allegedly having sex with at least 2 students under the age of 17. The Secretary of State’s Office says they are facing a proposed $3.8 million dollars in mid-year budget cuts which would force them to implement an agency-wide employee furlough as soon as next week. Tom Scheduler says this level of reduction is daunting.
