A 7-year-old who shot his aunt twice for not feeding him will not face charges, according to Webster Parish authorities. Emelie Gunn has more.:

Today Governor John Bel Edwards is meeting with FEMA Administrator Brock Long in Louisiana to discuss the state’s ongoing recovery from the 2016 floods. During that time, Edwards, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and state officials will talk about Louisiana’s preparations for potential flooding in the New Orleans area.

Mike VII’s former owners couldn’t be happier that the tiger has landed a home at LSU. Jeremy Hargett of the Wild at Heart Wildlife Center in Okeechobee, Florida says when Mike’s veterinarian came to visit him for the first time, Dr. Baker fell in love almost immediately…:

He says Mike VII, formerly Harvey, was bred as a photo cub and given up once he got too big.

Forecasters says there’s an excellent chance the remnants of Tropical Storm Harvey will reform in the Gulf of Mexico and head towards the Texas coast this week. State Climatologist Barry Keim says the disturbance fizzled out last week in the Caribbean, but should re-generate in the western Gulf.:
