A Grambling State student is recovering after he was shot in the arm by another man and the search for the shooter is ongoing. A university spokesperson says the shooting occurred last night when a student let a man in his dorm, an agrument ensued and the student was shot in the left arm. The victim underwent surgery at University Health Shreveport.

State Police arrested a Breaux Bridge police officer on charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Authorities say Breaux Bridge Police Chief Rollie Cantu contacted LSP detectives about alleged sexual misconduct with a 16-year-old juvenile by one of his officers. The investigation led to the arrest of 29-year-old Craig David.
