The Louisiana House approves legislation that would allow concealed handgun permit holders to bring a weapon into a public school or university if they are a visitor. Jeff Davis Parish authorities say they arrested nine people who were protesting the Bayou Bridge Pipeline . Deputies say the protesters were mingling around heavy equipment, causing a safety hazard for themselves and the construction workers. They were cited for trespassing.
