The Lafayette police officer who was killed yesterday after an hours-long standoff has been identified as Corporal Segus Jolivette. He was a SWAT officer who responded to a hostage situation when Jeanette Marshals tried to issue an arrest warrant Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife and five children.
