Yesterday, authorities began enforcing the ban on holding a phone while driving. The new law went into effect last August but until now, officers only issued verbal warnings. The grace period ended with 2025. State Police Trooper Shelby Mayfield says a previous ban has been in place for some time but this new law takes it one step further.

Saints linebacker Demario Davis has announced that he will be returning for a 15th NFL season next season. Davis says today’s game allows for longevity that the game of years past didn’t allow for.

Davis has recorded a career-high in tackles with 137. For him to return to New Orleans, he’ll need a new contract with the Saints. The Black and Gold conclude the 2025 season on Sunday at Atlanta.
