LSU and Brian Kelly continue to negotiate over the amount of money the university will pay the fired coach. Kelly’s buyout is nearly 54-million dollars, but according to the Advocate, LSU offered lump-sum payments of 25-million and 30-million dollars on the day he was fired, but those offers were rejected by Kelly. Kelly’s attorneys have told LSU they expect the school to fulfill its contractual obligation, or they will pursue all available legal remedies.
Freeze watches and freeze warnings are in effect for Louisiana tonight and into tomorrow morning as low temperatures could drop into the upper 20s for some locations. State Climatologist Jay Grymes says below freezing temperatures are possible as far south as the I-10-12 corridor….
