State Police say a police pursuit in Alexandria on Saturday resulted in two people dying. Master Trooper Casey Wallace says police tried pulling the Jeep early Saturday morning along the U-S 165 frontage road and the vehicle took off. Wallace says the Jeep partially submerged in a bayou, and 33-year-old Aaron Watson of Amite and 30-year-old Brandon Wright of Pineville were ejected from the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Wallace says it’s unclear which one was the driver.
