Two people are killed and 11 others are hurt in a pair of shootings during a second line parade yesterday afternoon in the St. Roch (ROW-sh) area of New Orleans.

Monday started with partly cloudy skies and morning temperatures in the 60s, transitioning to mostly cloudy conditions by the afternoon, with highs in the low 80s. LSU Climatologist Barry Keim says a cold front will bring isolated showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon, followed by a widespread line of storms overnight.
