Baton Rouge Police have seized around one hundred and eighty one pounds of fentanyl, over 100 doses of Adderall and Xanax, three rifles, a handgun, and more as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Fentanyl is the leading cause of overdose deaths in east Baton Rouge Parish, and latest stats show fatal overdoses are down by over 30-percent.
