Rookie sensation Zion Williamson’s regular season debut with the Pelicans will have to wait. ESPN is reporting Williamson will miss the regular season and several weeks after that with a knee injury. There’s been no word on how Williamson hurt his knee. The Pels conclude the preseason tonight with a game against the New York Knicks.

The Saints will head to the Windy City for a Sunday matchup with the Chicago Bears. The Black and Gold have won four in a row with Teddy Bridgewater as their starting QB. Sean Payton says Bridgewater’s performance showcases the aspects of his demeanor that the coach appreciates at the QB position.

Louisiana Tech brings a five-game winning streak into tomorrow’s Conference USA showdown against Southern Miss. The Golden Eagles are 4-and-2 overall and they are coming off a 45-27 win over North Texas.
