Last night on his radio show, Coach Ed Orgeron gave a timeline on when defensive ends Glen Logan and Rashard Lawrence might return. Orgeron says Lawerence could be back in two weeks for the Utah State game, while Logan might not be back until the Florida game on October 12th.
Saints Coach Sean Payton will not say who will start at quarterback on Sunday against Seattle. Payton says they are preparing for both Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill to play. The team has activated wide receiver Lil-Jordan Humphrey to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Humphrey is an undrafted rookie from Texas.
Week four of the college football season gets underway tonight as Tulane hosts Houston in the American Athletic Conference opener. The Green Wave are 2-and-1, while the Cougars are one and two. Houston quarterback D’Eriq King has a rushing and passing touchdown in 14 straight games, which ties Tim Tebow’s FBS record.
