The Saints also won routing Washington 43-19. Brees threw three touchdown passes two of them to Tre’Quan Smith. Mark Ingram returned from his four-game suspension and scored the first touchdown of the game on a two-yard run. He rushed for 53 yards on 16 carries.
Second-year cornerback Marshon Lattimore left the game with a concussion. It’s the second concussion he’s suffered in his career. He’ll have a chance to rest, as the Saints have a bye week coming up and they’ll play again on October 21st against the Baltimore Ravens.
After losing to Florida on Saturday, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow says they have no time to sulk, because second ranked Georgia will be in Tiger Stadium on Saturday. LSU is going through its toughest part of the schedule, but Burrow says he’s up to the challenge…
