Less than two years since winning a national championship, LSU and coach Ed Orgeron have agreed to part ways. Athletics Director Scott Woodward says the decision was made because of the team’s recent on-field performance…

The termination agreement calls for LSU to pay Orgeron his full buyout, which is nearly 17-million dollars. The LaRose native will also coach the team if they play in a bowl game and he’ll continue to keep recruiting high school prospects…

Orgeron and the Tigers will visit 12th ranked Ole Miss this Saturday at 2:30.

A day before LSU and Ed Orgeron announced their separation, the Tigers football team pulled off a spirited win over Florida. The defense forced four turnovers, which resulted in 21 points. Senior linebacker Damone Clark had a game-sealing I-N-T late in the fourth quarter. Clark says a player’s only meeting led by injured defensive end Andre Anthony put the team in the right mind frame…

Today LSU running back Ty Davis-Price was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week. He set a school record on Saturday by rushing for 285 yards in a single game.

ULM scored a huge upset as the Warhawks beat Liberty 31-28. Calum Sutherland kicked a career-long 53-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter. The first field goal by a ULM kicker that was 50-or-more yards since 2014.
