The 2007 LSU National championship football team will be back in Tiger Stadium on Saturday and they’ll be recognized at halftime. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says former Head Coach Les Miles will also be there….

LSU plays Auburn this Saturday, the Tigers defense will have to deal with one of the best players in the league, Auburn Quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who ranks fourth in the SEC in passing yards per game and fifth in total offense.
Tonight, UL Lafayette takes the field as they host Texas State in a Sun Belt matchup on ESPN-U. The Cajuns are a two touchdown favorite and UL Lafayette has won the previous meetings with the Bobcats in recent years rather easily. Kick-off from Cajun Field is at 6:30.
Saints Head Coach Sean Payton calls the trade of running back Adrian Peterson to Arizona a “win-win” situation. Payton says it gives Peterson more opportunities to carry the ball and the Saints still have enough depth at running back to get through the season….

The Saints host the Detroit Lions this Sunday. Black and gold wide out Willie Snead is ready to make his season debut. He was suspended the first three weeks and then had a hamstring injury. Terron Armstead is also very close to returning as he took part in the entire practice yesterday as he comes back from a torn shoulder labrum. Kick-off from the Dome is at noon.
