The Pelicans disappointing start to the season continued last night with a 122 to 116 loss to the Houston Rockets. Brandon Ingram did not play because of knee soreness and Jrue Holiday continues to struggle. He scored 18 points last but was six of 21 from the floor.

Tonight, the Ragin Cajuns are at TCU, while ULM fell to Texas A-and-M 63-57 last night.

LSU’s offense is the envy of nearly every team in college football after spending much of the last decade as a below-average unit. ULM quarterback Caleb Evans has been named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week. Evans he accounted for 401 yards of total offense and four touchdowns to lead the Warhawks to a 45-31 victory over Georgia State.
