The attorney for Les Miles says it’s deeply disturbing that Kansas has put Miles on administrative leave after reports surfaced last week that he acted inappropriately with female students while at LSU. Miles’ attorney Peter Ginsberg says when LSU investigated Miles in 2013 they could not find evidence he kissed a student worker or offered to take her to a hotel. Legal analyst Tim Meche says Miles’s 3-and-18 record at Kansas is likely a factor in being placed on administrative leave…

LSU baseball has taken a tumble in the polls after dropping two of three to Oral Robers. The Tigers are now ranked 21st by D-1 baseball, dropping ten spots. LSU is no longer ranked by Baseball America.

The LSU men’s basketball team outscored Missouri 19-12 in the final six minutes on Saturday and went on to beat Mizzou 86-80 to claim the three seed in this week’s SEC tournament in Nashville. Coach Will Wade was pleased with getting this victory on the road

The Ragin Cajuns were eliminated from the Sun Belt Tournament last night as they fell to Georgia State 84-73.

Nicholls’ Austin Claunch was named Southland Coach of the Year today as he led the Colonels to their first outright regular-season conference championship since 1998. Nicholls guard Ty Gordon, a transfer from Troy, is the Newcomer of the Year as he’s averaging 16 points a game.
