Sheriff’s office spokesperson Cindy Chadwick says Johnny Essary did not move his wife from the couch and she became unresponsive, severely malnourished and had life-threatening wounds…

For the first time in two years, the Louisiana Health Department has ordered the closure of a restaurant after inspectors allegedly found flies, insects, rodents and other live animals at the establishment.
