The championship series against Coastal Carolina will begin Saturday night.

The newest inductees into the Saints Hall of Fame are cornerback Tracy Porter and safety Brett Maxie. Porter played four seasons in New Orleans, and had an interception in the 2009 NFC Championship game to set up the game winning field goal and a 74-yard interception return for a touchdown to cap the Saints Super Bowl win over the Colts.

Maxie played for the Black and Gold for nine seasons and recorded 438 tackles and 15 interceptions and he’s considered one of the best safeties in franchise history. He credits his family and his faith for where he is today and the shared values they instilled in him.
