The LSU Lady Tigers flip the script from last week as they went into Lexington and defeated Kentucky, 65-58. Last week at Texas, LSU blew a 12-point third quarter lead in dropping their second game of the season. Yesterday, the Lady Tigers stormed back from down 16 late in the second quarter and outscored them 23-6 in the third to take control of the game. After the game, Coach Kim Mulkey said they didn’t make too many adjustments after halftime.

LSU improves to 27-2 overall and 12-2 in the SEC.

The McNeese men’s basketball team can win an outright Southland regular season championship with a win over U-T-R-G-V tonight at the Legacy Center. Tip time is at 6 PM.

Shaw graduate Terry Joseph has reportedly been named the Saints passing game coordinator. Joseph has been a longtime assistant on the college ranks.

LSU baseball won its series against Omaha, but suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers didn’t get a hit until the eighth inning in a five to four loss to the Mavericks. LSU had 17 fly ball outs that game. Coach Jay Johnson says it was a learning experience for his team…

LSU hosts Nicholls tonight at 6 PM. The Colonels are off to a 5-and-2 start after sweeping Little Rock.

The Ragin Cajuns took two of three from 23rd ranked Nebraska over the weekend. U-L Lafayette swept a doubleheader from the Cornhuskers on Saturday.

Louisiana Tech dropped two of three to Southern Miss and ULM split a rain shortened series with Houston Christian.  The Warhawks host Little Rock at 6 PM tonight.
