Former ULM running back Ahmad Hardy is transferring to Missouri. Hardy rushed for 13-hundred yards and 13 touchdowns for the Warhawks last season.

Former LSU star Clyde Edwards Helaire was released by the Chiefs earlier this month, but the Baton Rouge native has found a new team and it’s close to his home town. The Saints have signed Edwards-Helaire to their practice squad as Alvin Kamara is dealing with a groin injury.

La Tech football coach Sonny Cumbie says newly hired offensive coordinator Tony Franklin is involved in the game planning for the Bulldogs bowl game at the Independence Bowl in Shreveport against Army. When Franklin was the O-C between 2010 and 2012, Tech had high scoring offenses. Cumbie says Franklin is an experienced play caller this program needs…
