Defensive specialist Herb Jones returned after a three-game absence and held Luka Donic to 16 points on five of 16 shooting. Brandon Ingram had 25 points for the Pels and rookie Jordan Hawkins also had 25 points as he finished with five three-pointers.

Mikaylah Williams from Bossier City scored 42 points, a record for an LSU freshman, as the seventh ranked LSU Lady Tigers defeated Kent State 109 to 79 in the PMAC yesterday. Williams was 15 of 20 from the field and hit five three-pointers. She credits her practice habits
