When LSU faces Alabama on Saturday November fifth. The game will kick off at 6 PM. It will be the Tigers first night game in Death Valley since the September 24th win against New Mexico.
The Pelicans will be shorthanded tonight when they host the Dallas Marvericks. The team has announced that Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones will not play. Williamson has a hip-and-back contusion from a hard fall in Sunday’s loss to Utah. Ingram is in concussion protocol and Jones has a hyperextended knee. Tip time in NOLA is at 6:30.
Texas A-and-M Corpus Christi has been picked to win the Southland Conference in Men’s basketball. Nicholls is picked to finish second, followed by UNO, Southeastern, McNeexse and Northwestern State.
Destrehan is ranked number one still in the Class 5A Louisiana Sports Writers Association high school football poll. Parkway and Southside have entered the Top 10. The tenth ranked Sharks are 7-and-1 after beating Acadiana 22-7 last Friday. Parkway is also 7-and-1 and they are ranked ninth and will visit Airline on Thursday. Several games are getting moved to Thursday because of the possiblty of bad weather on Friday.
