The Ragin Cajuns baseball team had hits third walk-off win since last Friday as Drew Markle hit a home run in the 11th inning to beat Kansas State, sweeping a two-game midweek series at Tigue Moore Field. U-L Lafayette has won seven in a row.

The LSU men’s basketball team ended its five game losing streak with a double overtime win over Ole Miss, 106 to 99. Afterwards the president and CEO of FMOL Health, EJ Kuiper, said coach Matt McMahon deserves another season. Kuiper is an influential booster of LSU athletics.

Governor Jeff Landry announced on his “X” account today that A-T-and-T is investing 45-million dollars to upgrade the network inside Tiger Stadium before the 2026 season. LSU President Wade Rousse joined Landry for the announcement. Rousse says when you have over 100-thousand people in one place, you need service that works…
