As I mentioned Grupe missed two field goals. He’s missed eight on the season, the most in the NFL.  Former Ravens star kicker Justin Tucker came to New Orleans today on a tryout. It’s his first tryout since he’s been reinstated following a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. He allegedly acted inappropriately with massage therapists.

Patriots offensive tackle Will Campbell injured his knee in yesterday’s win over the Bengals. The former LSU and Neville star is expected to miss some time, but the injury is not season-ending.

Louisiana Tech won its sixth game of the season on Saturday, a come from behind overtime win over Liberty. Quarterback Trey Kukuk sparked the rally and he did it with his legs. Kukuk had 31 yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter and a 29-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to tie the game. Kukuk says the players wanted to win this game for head coach Sonny Cumbie and the coaches…

The Lane Kiffin watch is on in Baton Rouge. Ole Miss says an announcement about Kiffin’s future with the university would be made this Saturday, one day after Friday’s Egg Bowl matchup against in-state rival Mississippi State. LSU fans believe he’s heading to Baton Rouge…
