Two people are dead after being hit while riding a motorcycle at two o’clock this morning. The accident occurred when a 14-year-old juvenile was driving a vehicle in the wrong lane on La 74 in Ascension Parish. Louisiana State Police Trooper Bryan Lee says the investigation is on-going and law enforcement is meeting with legal experts to determine which path to take on this horrific crash.
The juvenile driving the vehicle is facing charges.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office believes a series of five fires around Leesville are connected. Calls about the fires came in over a 30 minute time span starting at 2AM this morning, and is centered on particular neighborhood. No injuries were reported but the fires could have turned tragic as they were set very near to where families were sleeping, which means potential charges of aggravated arson.
